Reserve your UW Varsity Band Concert tickets by Feb. 2

Each year, members of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association gather in Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin’s annual spring Varsity Band Concert.

This long-standing tradition provides an opportunity for members to socialize with colleagues, friends and family, while enjoying a truly unique show.

This year’s concert begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Kohl Center. The evening will feature music that is both highly diversified and musically rewarding including popular favorites from ABBA and The Rolling Stones. Additional selections will include music from the concert hall such as George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” (recently retitled by the Varsity Band to “Rhapsody in Red!”).

The Varsity Band will also perform a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album along with music from Broadway masterpieces “West Side Story” and “Miss Saigon.” The 44th Annual Varsity Band concert is certain to provide fans with an evening of fun, great sounds and exciting Badgers spirit.

Tickets are $23 each, and can be reserved through the WNA using the form below. Be sure to order enough tickets to entertain your advertising clients, reward your newspaper staff or enjoy a night out with your family.

Tickets must be reserved by Friday, Feb. 2.
