WNA Executive Director Beth Bennett was installed Tuesday, July 10, as president of TEMPO Madison, an invitation only, peer-to-peer organization in greater Madison that connects women leaders with diverse backgrounds and experience to support, advise, learn and create relationships with one another.

Bennett has been a member of the group since 2010 and on the board of directors since 2013. TEMPO is comprised of approximately 290 women in executive and leadership positions throughout the Madison area community. It was founded in an effort to break down barriers and unite women executives within a single community. Members attend monthly luncheons with featured speakers intended to stimulate conversation and expand horizons, networking events and informal groups functions.

The group also makes efforts to give back to the greater Madison community through fundraising and other efforts, like its holiday bazaar, which features area non-profit organizations. Bennett chaired the bazaar from 2013 through 2015.
