Idea Fest returns this fall to Madison for second year

Cap Times Idea Fest, a two-day event focused on how to “Reach a Better State,” returns Sept. 28-29 on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, The Capital Times announced Wednesday.

This year’s festival will feature two dozen sessions on politics, equity, the economy, the environment, culture and more. Among those scheduled to speak are former Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle and David Axelrod, former adviser for President Barack Obama.

Tickets for the event are on sale now through UW. Cost for a weekend pass is $30, or $10 for students.
