Kenosha News’ parent company sells 2 newspapers

United Communications Corporation, the parent company of the Kenosha News, has sold two Massachusetts publications to Triboro Massachusetts News Media Inc., the newspaper reported Wednesday.

All employees will be retained as The (Attleboro) Sun Chronicle and the Foxboro Reporter join the newly formed media corporation. Triboro is run by Canadian newspaper executive Steven Malkowich, who owns newspapers throughout the United States and Canada.

Both daily newspapers have served the southeastern Massachusetts area for more than 125 years, tracing their histories back to the 1880s.
