FITCHBURG – Biotechnology company Promega is moving 25 instrument production jobs from California to near its headquarters in Fitchburg, reported the Wisconsin State Journal. According to the tax credit application filed with WEDC — obtained by the State Journal through an open records request — the 25 jobs will pay approximately $85,000 a year, not counting benefits.
Promega representatives have declined to answer questions about the project.
