MILWAUKEE – Julia Wachuta, a junior majoring in English, has been named managing editor of Arches Magazine, the official student publication of Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, the (Prairie du Chien) Courier Press reported.
Wachuta, a Prairie du Chien native, has been writing for Arches since her freshman year and became an editor as a sophomore. She also contributes to marketing publications for the university.
Arches has won numerous state, regional and national awards, including first place in general excellence in the WNA Foundation’s Collegiate Better Newspaper Contest and first place in the Associated Collegiate Press Best of Midwest awards.
