Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council celebrates 40 years

MADISON – The Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council will celebrate its 40th anniversary Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Wisconsin State Capitol.

The event, which starts at 3 p.m. in the Assembly Parlor, will follow the council’s 1 p.m. meeting. It will include speakers, cake and a celebration of open government.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to see the unveiling of open government artwork and the council’s new logo.
