BERLIN, Wis. – With the holiday season approaching, Berlin Journal Newspapers is teaming up with the Green Lake Country Visitors Bureau to promote shopping local.
The campaign, which kicked off Thursday, features businesses throughout the Green Lake Country area, including Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan, Princeton and Ripon. It continues through Small Business Saturday, which is scheduled for Nov. 24 this year.
In Thursday’s edition of the Berlin Journal, readers will find a two-page spread with ads from over 80 businesses in the Green Lake Country area. To help shoppers navigate the array of ads, borders around them are color-coded: yellow for restaurants, green for shopping and blue for service businesses.
Berlin Journal Newspapers also includes the Green Lake Reporter, Markesan Regional Reporter, Omro Herald and Princeton Times-Republic.
