As we wrap up our 2018 contest and are preparing to send notifications to winners in early January, we’re also getting ready for 2019 contest season!
Next year, members of the New York Press Association will judge the 2019 WNA Better Newspaper Contest. Right now, they need our help judging their 2018 contest.
NYPA needs at least 50 WNA members to sign up as judges by Jan. 11 to help judge their news, advertising, college and high school contests. Volunteers will receive assignments in late January and have approximately three weeks to complete judging. With the exception of a few categories requiring hard copies, all judging will be done online.
Volunteer judges are needed for categories including news, sports, opinion, features, multimedia, photography, advertising and more. You can choose the categories you prefer to judge using our online sign-up form, which also allows you to send additional comments to NYPA staff.
