Eileen Nimm retires as associate editor of The Chronotype

RICE LAKE – After nearly two decades at The (Rice Lake) Chronotype, associate editor Eileen Nimm retired last week. She celebrated alongside general manager Jim Dorrance, who also retired last week.

Nimm joined The Chronotype in 1999, primarily covering courts, police and fire news. She also covered the Barron County board for many years and served as a member of the editorial board.

During her time in Rice Lake, Nimm helped The Chronotype win numerous Wisconsin Newspaper Association Better Newspaper Contest awards.
