New resource makes it easy to compare statewide educational data

School DataTool, a new online resource from the Wisconsin Policy Forum, offers a new way to compare statewide educational data.

Drawing on Department of Public Instruction data, the new feature can be used to compare statewide and district numbers on enrollment, student performance, student engagement and finances.

The numbers include enrollment demographics, ACT and AP scores, achievement gaps, dropout and graduation rates, per student revenue and expense breakdowns, and more.

“We’re offering one-stop analysis of many major educational indicators, from enrollment and school spending to graduation rates and student performance,” WPF President Rob Henken said.
