Washington Post’s Tracy Grant to speak at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE – Tracy Grant, a Washington Post managing editor for staff development and standards, will be featured at the annual Ann Devroy Memorial Forum on April 18 at UW-Eau Claire’s Schofield Auditorium.

Grant’s presentation is titled “Journalism in 2019: To Tell the Truth.” A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Grant is the second woman in the history of the Washington Post to achieve the rank of managing editor. She started at the newspaper in 1993 as a copy editor.

The university’s Communication and Journalism department also will host a reception prior to the forum from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Hibbard Humanities Hall 105. The reception includes refreshments, networking and an exclusive Q&A with Grant.
