Steve McEnroe, a former Wisconsin photographer who spent the final 21 years of his career with the Rapid City (S.D.) Journal, died March 15, 2019. He was 67.
McEnroe, who was born in Fargo, N.D., graduated high school from Lincoln High in Sioux Falls, S.D. In 1973, he earned his degree in photojournalism from UW-Oshkosh.
After college, McEnroe worked as a news photographer at the Barrington (Ill.) Courier-Review, New London Press Star and The (Minocqua) Lakeland Times before returning to South Dakota.
