Ben Bromley leaves Baraboo News Republic after 22 years

BARABOO – After more than two decades with the Baraboo News Republic, longtime columnist and senior reporter Ben Bromley wrote his final column for the newspaper Tuesday.

Bromley joined the newspaper in June 1997 and has served as a feature writer, reporter and editor, along with writing columns. Next week, he will start a new role with the Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce, working as its marketing and tourism coordinator.

Prior to joining the News Republic, Bromley studied at UW-Madison and earned his journalism degree from the University of Minnesota. He started his journalism career in 1995 at the Woodbury Bulletin, a weekly newspaper in a suburb of St. Paul, Minn.
